Messaging students through the Canvas Gradebook.

you're able to message students directly from the campus Gradebook you can go to your particular campus course and click on grades and then once you're in grades you can choose an assignment or activity or maybe you have students who haven't submitted content yet he click on the three dots next to that assignment you were done shoes message student who and then you have some different options of the types of messages you might want to send if you want to send two students who haven't submitted yet you will get a list right here and you'll see who hasn't submitted if there's a student that you've already heard from and they get me to receive this message you can click on the X next to their name remove them all the other students that receive a message from here will receive an individual message so they won't know who else has received this you can also click on this drop-down menu and you can choose some different options maybe you were use this as an assessment or formative assessment and you can choose scored less than an assignment is worth 10 points and you want to message anybody who scored less than seven points on this assessment you can type in the number 7 right there and then a list of students who scored less than seven points would all up here there and you could message them and maybe you know ask them if they had any questions or where they're struggling points were so there this is a great way to rap dance really quickly and said of having to go one by one or the speed greater you'll get your list right here and again it does send messages individually to students
