this video is going to show you how to link content from your canvas course to a calendar event so to start an event you're going to go to calendar around the left hand side and then you're going to click on the plus sign and you're going to create a new event you would want to give it a title remember I like to give the title of the course and then you can add whatever else you want for your title and then you want to make sure to choose which calendar is going to go on to and then you want to click on more options once you're in more options in this Rich Text Editor box right here you can type your content here and you can also link content within here if you click on this link icon right here you can choose course links and then from within here you can like Pages assignments quizzes announcements discussions or even course navigation if you'd want to say take directly just to the modules page you could do that but let's say you want to link them to an assignment when I click on assignments my list appears I find the activity I went to Lake and I click on it it appears if I want to move out around I can and then let's say after they've completed that activity I also want them to complete a quiz so I'm going to click on my quizzes and I can choose what I want to add from there and then all I do is Click create event
