K-4 Timeline

ZIONSVILLE HIGH ABILITY TIMELINE—IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION

  • May 15: Early Entrance to Kindergarten or Early Entrance to First Grade applications due to HA office
  • June 1-10: Early Entrance, New Student, and Appeals testing
  • By June 10: Elementary High Ability Identification decisions sent to parents via email
  • June 15: Appeals due
  • By June 30: Final identification letters emailed
  • July – HA office closed

NOTE:  New families enrolling during the month of July who would like their child to be considered for High Ability should follow directions on the website for new students and submit any required application materials via U.S. mail to the High Ability Office, ATTN:  Lori Willy, Educational Services Center, 900 Mulberry Street, Zionsville, IN  46077.  Application materials will be reviewed and decisions made as soon as the office reopens August 1.  Please note that incomplete files will not be reviewed.  Directions and information about materials required for your application can be found at the following link on our website.
