Family & Caregiver Training: Adaptive Yoga Series
Our first event will be Saturday, February 11th from 1:30-3:00 at Fountain Square Yoga.
Fill out this Google Form if you are interested in attending - you will receive additional paperwork to fill out and send to your Case Manager which will cover the cost through your Medicaid Waiver.
**The $200 cost will be waived for your family if you choose to use your Medicaid Waiver funds.**
Durable Medical Equipment like Gait Trainers and Standers aren’t the only way for people with complex physical needs to gain mobility, flexibility, and strength to improve their quality of life.
Observe while Physical Therapists and staff work with your child’s individual needs through modified yoga poses to increase skills. We will show you how everyday household items can be used in a functional way

After the physical portion of the workshop, you will have the chance to speak individually with our PT while your child creates a photographic journal with our staff to provide visuals for how to do this practice at home. This journal will be a take-home resource for your family and any staff who may see your child throughout
