ZCS is on a two-hour delay this morning due to water pressure fluctuation that will impact sprinkler systems. The water company has not responded to our calls for information about the extent of water shut off, and we cannot risk putting thousands of kids out in the rain because fire alarm systems activate when water pressure is lost. Our maintenance crews have already noted water pressure decrease on the main campus due to Citizen's Water maintenance unannounced to us.
All BAC locations will be open as planned for those enroute to deliver their children there at the normal time. Bottled water will be made available, and umbrellas will be located should a mandatory evacuation be required.
