Communications initiatives include internal and external planning, content creation, crisis communication, media relations, branding, social media, and storytelling. We use a variety of print and digital mediums to deliver information via platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIN, YouTube and Vimeo. Our goal is to provide our families and the community accurate and timely information.

The Business office supports our ever-growing district through detail-oriented financial management. This includes budget preparation, payroll, accounting, purchasing, invoicing, and more.

The Zionsville Community Schools Operations Department plays a key role in creating safe, efficient, and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors. From maintaining school buildings and grounds to overseeing transportation, safety systems, and facility upgrades, our team works behind the scenes to support daily learning and long-term growth. With a focus on reliability, sustainability, and service, the Operations Department ensures that every school is equipped to meet the needs of our growing district.

ZCS is committed to providing a safe learning environment for students and staff. Doors remain locked during the school day, all visitors are required to sign in and wear identification, and school employees are trained to immediately report any suspicious activity to the proper authority.

The mission of the Office of Special Projects is to provide value-added, enriching, fee-based services for families of Zionsville Community Schools and to also provide important links between our schools and the greater community.

Zionsville Community Schools is committed to supporting the health and well-being of every student. Our school-based health services are designed to promote a safe, healthy learning environment by providing care for illness and injuries, managing chronic conditions, and supporting prevention and wellness efforts. Each school is staffed with a trained health professional who works in the school each day.
