Dear Parents, 

I have copied a note regarding a district-wide survey we are asking
parents to complete.  You can access the survey two ways.  The following
information has a web address you can use.  We also have a link on the
ZCS website.  When you access the district site you will see a picture. 
Under the picture you will see
 Latest ZCS News.  The first item is Parent Survey for Literacy.  Click
on that and you will be at the site.  Follow the directions below to
continue.  We will also have hard copies available at school.  
We are very excited to have this study of our instructional practice
and program.  Your input will be very valuable to us as we review our
literacy work.  Thank you in advance for completing the survey.

Parent Survey - Zionsville Community Schools 
In an effort to continually review our literacy and reading practices,
Zionsville School Corporation has hired an outside School Literacy
firm-Learning Unlimited, LLC-to review our reading and writing
curriculum. A team of three Literacy Specialists led by Dr. Kimberly
Tyson are currently conducting the THE LITERACY LENS Review
district-wide which will help teachers and instructional support staff
to reflect and refine their literacy practices. 
Parents are invited to participate in an online Parent Survey as part
of the Literacy Review. If you do not have online access at your home,
your child’s school will provide a computer/s to access the survey. 
The survey will be live from Monday November 3rd - Friday, November
14th and will take about 10 - 15 minutes to complete. 
It is suggested that you complete the survey only once. (If you have
children in schools at different levels and would answer questions
differently according to your children, you may take more than once.) If
you are taken “off task”, you may exit out of the survey, and when
you return, the survey will resume where you left off. 

To Take the Parent Survey 

● Go to www.learningunlimitedllc.com 

● On the home page - look in the green box on the lower left side of
the home page. 

● Click on the gold button that says “To Literacy Surveys”. 

● You will be taken directly to a page entitled Literacy Surveys -
Zionsville Community Schools 

● Click on the button below the instructions labeled Parent Survey. 

● The results will be aggregated and shared with parents at a later
date.
