this video tutorial will show you how you can create a new quiz where students can see an article on the left side and answer questions on the right first go to your canvas course you're going to click on quizzes on the left side click plus quiz you want to make sure you choose new quizzes Alex Smith dear Simon name you can choose how many points you want it to be percentage complete incomplete whoever you'd like the bottom safe they will take you to where you can build your quiz you can add your instructions when you're ready to address your question click the plus button and you're going to add a stimulus question on the left side you give me the title you can add instructions you could also embed a video or a document in here but I'm going to go ahead and just copy and paste from a Newsela article then once you're done you're going to add the stimulus Now does not accept the same formatting as the Newsela website I can attach a question so I can choose categorization file upload formula matching order essay fill in the blank hotspot local answer numeric works or false I want to do an essay question and the question title other options when I'm done she's how many points cut. And I can return when I'm finished
