Key Club will meet in the back of the cafeteria tomorrow morning at 7:00.  Please come as we have many upcoming events to sign up for.  Officers, please check in with Mrs. Busick briefly after school today in room 308.

The Zionsville Sport Climbers Club will be having its first meeting on Thursday, March 18, at Climb Time from 6-8 pm.  If you are interested in joining, please stop by Mr. Magoni's room to pick up a permission slip and information.

Congratulations to the Academic Super Bowl teams for their above and beyond performance at the HCC invitational meet.  The match was incredibly long and we did not return until 11:00 pm, but we did not come home empty handed - the teams won 2 of the 6 events - The Math Squad and the Interdisciplinary squad are 2010 HCC Academic Super Bowl Champs!

All Justo concert-goers will report to the cafeteria at the beginning of 3rd period today.  Attendance for the show will be taken at 9:27 am.

Students planning to take one or more AP exams in May - please note that the registration deadline is this Friday, March 19.  Registration forms are available in the Guidance Office, the Freshman Center office, and online at the Guidance website.  Payment MUST accompany the registration.  All registrations turned in after March 19 must include a $10 late fee, and Tuesday, March 23 is the last day registrations will be accepted in order to provide enough time for ordering exams prior to spring break.

Attention Senior Athletes:  Please note that the Zionsville Athletic Booster Club scholarship application is due Friday, April 9.  This application requires a 1-page essay, recommendation letters from a teacher and a coach, as well as a copy of your transcript.  You can access the application form from the Community Foundation of Boone County's website.  Get those recommendation letter requests out before you leave for Spring Break!

Cycling Club call out meeting will be held today in Mr. Kartholl's room.

Attention all Stay in Bounds ambassadors:  We will be going out to Stonegate on Thursday, and PVE and Union on Friday.  Please see Mr. Walter if you have conflicts.

Attention all Rising Stars:  We will meet on Thursday at 6:45 in the FC Cafeteria.

EKOM Mentors remember your meeting tomorrow morning in the FC LGI at 7:00 am. We will be preparing our mentor day with freshmen.

Attention Juniors and Seniors - it's time for Prom and After Prom 2010! Look for more information on the Red Box by the cafeteria!

All Justo Lamas concert goers must report to the cafeteria at the beginning of 3rd period today.  We will take attendance and will run a competition to see who has the most Justo spirit!  Come dressed in Justo T-shirts, make Justo posters, etc., and be one of the most spirited and win a prize!

Clark's Cinema Club is meeting this Friday night in Mrs. Clark's room from 4-11 pm for a marathon of though-provoking movies.  This is open to all freshman honors English students, but there are only 20 available spots.  There is a $5 dinner fee and the permission slips posted around the freshman center are due to Ms. Clark or Sarah Kissel by this Wednesday.  Come for a good movie and a great discussion.

Vincennes University will be here to meet with students during 6th period on Thursday.  Please sign up in guidance if you are interested in getting more information about possibly attending Vincennes.

Attention Juniors:  A rep from Miami University will be in guidance this Thursday at 8:00 am. Miami University offers a 6-week summer opportunity for academically talented current high school juniors.  Please sign up in the guidance office to meet this this rep.

Come to the 2nd Annual Benefit Talent Show tonight at 6:30 pm in the PAC.  Admission is free, but donations are welcome.  You'll enjoy a great evening of entertainment, free refreshments and a silent auction -  and at the same time help a village in Sierra Leone!  You won't want to miss it!

Vocal Music auditions for the 2010-2011 school year are March 22 -24.  Please see Mrs. Broge, Mr. Budd or Mr. Coates for an audition packet.  Sign up for audition times outside Room 11.

The Brain Game Team will compete in the Quarterfinals this morning, taking on perennial rival Pike High School.  Best wishes to the team as they represent ZCHS in yet another academic arena!

Seniors:  We have a scholarship application for the following scholarships in the high school guidance office:  Indiana Oil and Gas Association for students interested in the oil and gas industry; Andy's Ride for students pursuing a technical school for areas such as auto mechanic training; the Springer/Julian Scholarship for relatives of George Washington High School graduates; North Park Community Credit Union for students interested in Business, Finance or Accounting; and the Boone County REMC scholarship for students living in the REMC area.  Scholarships vary in amount and additional criteria.

Auditions for the Spring Play THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER are today and tomorrow from 3:00 - 4:30.

Les Femmes is having a clothing drive this week to benefit the Julian Center and Key Club is having an underwear/sock drive for underprivileged children and teens.

On April 17 Zionsville's Chamber Choir will be a part of a concert in the Performing Arts Center with Encore Vocal Arts, a local professional choral ensemble.  The concert, entitled "Flight of the Spirit" will feature works of Stravinsky and Bernstein and a dance troupe performing aerial dance..as seen in Cirque du Soleil or at this year's Grammy awards.  In an effort to promote the event, the directors and organizer are sponsoring a promotional video contest.  The winning entries will be posted on YouTube and will be featured in events promoting the concert.  Three cash prizes will be awarded.  This is open to any Zionsville student.  See Mr. Coates if you would like video entry guidelines.  The deadline for entry is Friday, March 26..

Lost and Found is down in front of the cafeteria - please be sure to check it out.  All items will be taken to a charitable organization by Spring Break Week.

Call-Out meeting for Cheerleaders is Tuesday, April 13, at 6:30 in the FC LGI room.  This is a mandatory meeting for anyone wishing to tryout out for next year.  Clinics will be April 28 and April 29 from 3:15 - 4:00 pm, and tryouts are April 30 beginning at 3:30.

The Indianapolis Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) will host the FBI Youth Leadership Academy on June 23, 24 and 25, 2010.  The Academy is designed to promote an educational experience that will provide students with valuable leadership training and a greater understanding of the FBI.  Interested students must be nominated through their guidance counselor, so if you are interested, please see your counselor.  Applications will be accepted through this Friday..

Seniors:  Please note that any scholarships due between March 26 through April 5 must be turned in to the high school guidance office by MONDAY, MARCH 22.
